Russell Winston

Russell Winston is a Real Estate Agent based out of Starkville, Mississippi. Born and raised in Starkville, he graduated from a local high school in 1995 and went on to graduate from Mississippi State University in 2000. After spending 25 years in the Automotive Collision Repair industry where he bought and sold several properties as well as the actual businesses themselves, he decided to switch gears and share his knowledge of commercial and recreational properties by joining the real estate field. Russell and his wife Amy have three children that keep them active with school sports and extracurricular activities. He enjoys hunting, fishing, working on his properties, as well as traveling with his family to see any location on the map they have not yet visited. Russell joined forces with Burkes Land Brokers in 2022 and looks forward to helping you buy or sell your next property in the beautiful state of Mississippi.

ABOUT BO

Bo Burkes graduated from Mississippi State University in 2002 with a BBA in Real Estate and Mortgage Finance. When the terrorist attack happened on September 11, 2001 Bo felt the call to serve his country. So, in 2003, Bo joined the MS Army National Guard. He proudly served 8 years as an Apache helicopter and King Air pilot. Bo served one tour in Iraq as an Apache helicopter pilot. He earned many personal awards during his time in the military and was honorably discharged in June 2012.
Bo, with his wife Lindsey and their two boys, Hayes and Jones, are proud to call Starkville home. He is an avid outdoorsman and loves to spend as much time as possible out on the lands of Mississippi. In August of 2014, Bo opened, and managed Tom Smith Land and Homes’ first branch office located in Starkville, MS.
Under Bo’s leadership, the Starkville branch office quickly became the market leader in land sales in the area, and he has held the #1 spot for seven years running himself. Bo joined Keller Williams in April 2020 to establish and grow the Keller Williams LAND Division in Mississippi.
Bo is a member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI) and served as the 2017 President of the MS Chapter. Bo has achieved the highly coveted Accredited Land Consultant (ALC) designation from RLI, which makes him one of the few Realtors in MS holding this designation.
